Programs

ISB – Kindergarten follows an amalgamation of the MYLESTONE curriculum, ECCE, and EYFS. The curriculum is student-centric, employing the play and learn methodology backed by the 6E approach of the school.

In Mylestone, there is an ‘I DO, WE DO, YOU DO’ approach. In ‘I DO’, the facilitator introduces and explains a concept. In ‘WE DO’, the facilitator facilitates the students in understanding the concept and doing exercises. In ‘YOU DO’, the student tries to independently do his/her work.

The syllabus for Kindergarten is divided into unique Themes which focus on the core subjects; English, Maths, and EVS. These subjects are integrated with Fine Motor Development, Gross Motor Development, Critical thinking, Creative Development, Socio-Emotional Development, and Health and Safety education thereby addressing the need for the all-around development of the child.

English is taught using Phonics whereas Math uses manipulatives to build a strong foundation and inculcate the love of the subject. EVS takes an experiential and explorational approach.

STEM is introduced early to nurture the investigative and inquisitive mind of the young child.

Kindergarten is the first step to the child’s educational journey. ISB guides the young mind into a confident student, ready to enjoy the process and become life-long learners.

At Indian School Bousher we aim at building empowered and confident individuals with strong physical and emotional health.

Mylestone Curriculum used in Grade 1to 5 ensures that students become active participants in the learning process and not passive recipients of the information.

The Course Book helps the students to understand the concept thoroughly and the Practice Book helps them to identify their weak areas. The Digital Support helps in better understanding of the concept and improves the learning outcomes.
